A full-service architectural & design firm, made up of six office and eight practice areas, is seeking a Senior Project Design Architect to join their growing Washington, DC office.
The Washington, DC and Atlanta headquarters of the firm work closely together on projects in the Life Science / S&T / Higher Educaiton markets, and are looking for a candidate with experience in one or all of these sectors.
This person will join the DC office as a key strategic hire, working closely with a Senior PM as a counterpart while also providing a design voice for the office. Importantly, this person will also be an essential contributor to the office culture, and should be excited to help create an energetic, positive, and collaborative atmosphere.
Key skills/needs:
- 15+ years of experience
- Architectural licensure
- Experience in science & technology, life science, and/or higher education projects
- Experience as a Project Architect
- Excellent design skills
- Good sense of humor & warm personality
- Ability to be in-office 3x/week (Tues-Thurs)
