Harper Harrison are currently working with a national leading engineering firm that have a senior position available out of their Fairfax office. The position will include client development, project management, technical leadership and staff mentoring in the Mid-Atlantic area.
Candidate will be involved with a wide range of projects to include planning, design, permitting, and construction. Candidate shall be capable of supervising junior staff and managing projects. Candidate shall also be able to lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and presentations.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who enjoys teamwork and possesses the technical, organizational, and communication skills to:
- Guide the development and implementation of utility and asset management solutions
- Assist in developing Asset Management tools like databases and BI dashboards
- Perform life-cycle cost analysis of assets
- Demonstrate proficiency in modeling, technologies, or practices for project delivery and business development
- Contribute to pursuits, scope development, and project management for Asset and Utility Management services
- Serve as project manager for projects, including large contracts or programs
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines to resolve conflicts and supervise junior staff
- Lead proposal development
- Lead project teams to define requirements, develop solutions, and deliverable templates
- Assess client needs/issues and strategize solutions with project teams
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience
- Familiarity with water quality and/or water/wastewater conveyance and treatment processes
- Experience as a project manager on water/wastewater or asset/utility management projects
