Overview
Our client is a big player in the mid-Atlantic Real Estate and Data Center Development market and is arguably one of the most exciting and forward-thinking developers in the Northern Virginia Area. They’re now looking to onboard two Directors of Construction and Development to progress their hyperscale Data Center build-out.
Responsibilities
Apply advanced knowledge of Data Center development, design, and construction
Use financial models to gauge the feasibility of projects
Draft agreements and edit legal documents related to design and construction
Develop and coordinate project schedules and execute sustainability plans including an understanding of relevant Data Center metrics (e.g: PUE, WUE)
Utilise extensive Microsoft Office skills, with cloud-based project management software skills a plus (Autodesk, Procure, Construction Cloud)
Communicate effectively across multiple projects and meet detailed deadlines
Interpret federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and past approvals pertaining to the development of assets
Requirements
10+ years of experience in construction management, engineering, architecture/planning
Project management (PMP) and construction management (CCM) certifications preferred
3+ years of experience in data center development, design, engineering or construction, preferably in hyperscale data center projects
Experience with project risk management and mitigation strategies
