This business builds and operates digital infrastructure designed for the next generation. They leverage world-class technology, scalable engineering, and meticulous design to deliver on client's needs. Their client-centric approach is all about transparency, flexibility, and speed, ensuring they surpass expectations.

This is an experienced and growth-minded leadership team. With one data center in operation, there are another 9 in various stages of development and more on the horizon.

Position Overview

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of the company and driving its growth trajectory. This position is fully remote with occasional travel required to Montreal and other location in the US, Canada, and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Financial Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

·        Capital Raising: Lead fundraising efforts, including venture capital, private equity, and debt financing, to support the company's expansion plans and strategic initiatives.

·        Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure the company's financial health and sustainability.

·        Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies and controls.

·        Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for internal and external stakeholders.

·        Investor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors and financial institutions, providing transparent and timely communication regarding the company's financial performance and outlook.

·        Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes, including pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and business expansion initiatives.

·        Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and standards, as well as adherence to corporate governance best practices.

·        Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

·        Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in the technology or real estate industry.

·        Strong background in strategic finance, capital raising, and financial planning and analysis.

·        Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital from venture capital firms, private equity investors, and/or financial institutions.

·        Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

·        Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovation.

·        Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and integrity.
