Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom automated systems for diverse manufacturing environments.
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed designs, models, and drawings.
- Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project success.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and shop technicians.
- Lead design reviews and ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into larger project solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, innovative environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (or 10+ years of relevant experience).
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in machine/system design and integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and occasional use of simulation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience working in custom automation or machine integration environments.
