Licensed Project Architect

I'm partnering with a New Jersey based Architecture & Engineering firm that is actively hiring a Licensed Architect to join the firm.

The intent of hiring is for this individual to lead the architectural department for the firm. My dynamic client is seeking an individual to work in Somerville, NJ with 15+ years of experience working in Architecture and Design. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage projects, engage in client interactions, and provide on-site troubleshooting and design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and design renovation, rehabilitation, and occasional new build projects, with a focus on facade developments and postal work.
• Manage projects from concept to completion, including construction documents (CDs), contract documentation, and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Work collaboratively with senior architects and eventually step into a leadership role within the architectural team.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Navigate regulatory requirements and hold or be willing to obtain multiple state certifications (up to 3 states, with potential for strategic expansion).

• Licensed Architect - THIS IS A MUST HAVE QUALIFICATION
