Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee production processes and mentor junior and drafting staff to ensure high-quality outputs.
Client & Contractor Communication: Facilitate effective communication with clients and contractors to foster strong working relationships.
Innovative Problem Solving: Engage with cutting-edge technology to tackle complex engineering challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Implementation of Plans: Execute and implement project plans, goals, and objectives while ensuring alignment with directives.
Technical Accuracy: Perform assigned project tasks with precision, delivering results on time and within budget.
Structural Modeling: Conduct calculations and develop structural models for comprehensive analysis.
RFI Management: Respond to RFIs and prepare revision sketches to address project needs efficiently.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree and SE certification preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Illinois.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software such as Risa3D, Enercalc, SAP, ETABS, RAM, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Material Expertise: Experience with at least one material type: wood, steel, concrete, or masonry.
Project Experience: Proven track record in at least two of the following building/project types: URM/concrete retrofit, K-12 schools, community colleges, 2-story+ wood frame, 2-story+ steel frame, concrete tilt-up, or 2-way podium slab design.
