This role involves leading and executing healthcare projects, collaborating with clients, and delivering exceptional architectural solutions. This mid-sized firm is growing its healthcare team to support exciting new projects with renowned healthcare systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of detailed plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Apply advanced architectural techniques and principles to diverse assignments.
  • Independently address complex architectural challenges.
  • Assist with budget planning and management.
  • Create design presentation materials to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Work closely with clients and user groups to develop schematic designs and programming studies.
  • Conduct on-site observations to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Provide expert consultation for the design, planning, and coordination of complex projects.
  • Conduct thorough code analysis and liaise with agencies for approvals.
  • Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Assume a Project Manager role when needed, managing proposals, schedules, budgets, and team projections.
  • Guide and mentor design team members on critical objectives and concepts.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, zoning, and aesthetic standards.
  • Manage and foster strong client relationships.
  • Oversee construction administration, including project communication, documentation, and change order preparation.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.
  • Produce construction documents, revisions, and addendums.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited institution.
  • Licensed architect with 6-8 years of professional experience.
  • Proficient in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of building technology, codes, and industry trends.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Experience with tools such as Newforma, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam.
  • Additional certifications in construction administration, interior design, sustainability (e.g., LEED).
  • Proven ability to write and edit architectural specifications.
