Designer - Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural drawings, renderings, and visual presentations.
- Review and coordinate conceptual designs across various disciplines.
- Take ownership of specific technical design elements for assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendations for design solutions.
- Contribute to medium to large-scale projects by completing designated portions of assignments.
- Provide guidance on planning, design, and coordination for large, complex initiatives.
- Conduct thorough code analysis and research.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Address challenges faced by contractors, consultants, or clients and provide effective solutions.
- Undertake advanced assignments requiring innovative techniques and methodologies.
- Review and manage shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.
- Perform construction administration tasks.
- Support business development efforts as needed.
- Assist with the preparation and review of specifications.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in design, with a focus on healthcare projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of building technologies and fundamentals.
- Excellent time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Quick to learn new concepts and ideas.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a self-motivated, team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of IDP/AXP hours.
- Internship experience in a related field.
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Familiarity with Newforma Project Center or Analyzer.
- Experience using Microsoft Project and Bluebeam PDF Revu.
