Launching our podcast on Data Center Day, it’s only fitting that our first episode dives into the world of data centers. In our first episode hosted by  Del Connolly , we are joined by Ernest Popescu, CEO and Founder of Metrobloks, where we delve into his career journey and explore why he decided to move away from the corporate Data Center world and take the plunge and set up his own business.

 

Taking the plunge and setting up a Data Center Development business

Ernest shares his journey from working in the data center industry to founding his own company, Metrobloks, emphasizing the importance of embracing diverse perspectives and overcoming challenges. He discussed his entrepreneurial spirit, the process of securing funding, and the personal and professional growth he experienced along the way. Ernest also outlined Metrobloks' future plans, including expansion into new markets and potential investment opportunities, while expressing gratitude for the support he has received throughout his journey.
