Our client, a leading global data centre developer, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of mechanical systems across their Dublin data centres.

This role ensures the highest levels of efficiency, reliability, and compliance while managing projects, vendors, and sustainability initiatives in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance, ensuring zero downtime
* Lead mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and system improvements
* Manage vendor relationships and third-party contractors
* Drive sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and audits
* Collaborate with site teams to optimise cooling and environmental controls
* Provide 24/7 emergency response support for critical escalations
* Participate in change management and business continuity planning

What We're Looking For:
* 8+ years' experience in a data centre or critical environment
* Strong expertise in mechanical systems, BMS, and infrastructure
* Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and vendor management
* Proven ability to manage costs, energy efficiency, and site performance
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
